Jon Stewart, head coach at TVC Academy is proud to have been appointed coach of the Cricket Academy at BCA.  For those who have just finished their GCSE's the cricket academy offers students the opportunity to study in the many courses BCA provide whilst continuing their cricket development.

 

The programme will offer regular participation in cricket through coaching, strength and conditioning sessions and a variety of fixtures in a range of competitions. When students are not training or competing they will be in an array of different learning environments

TVC are fortunate to be the chosen coaching partner for Littlewick Green CC's (LGCC) junior section.
LGCC  boast a huge colts section of over 80 children and TVC are proud that we helped their U11 boys win the 2014 county cup final.

 

Head coach Jon Stewart set up and now coaches the North Maidenhead Ladies Cricket Team. Starting from scratch in 2014 the squad now boasts 25 ladies who have completed their first list of fixtures. In 2015 the ladies will enter a league for the first time.

 

TVC also run Maidenhead Cricket Clubs mini colts section.

 

 

TVC have a close relationship with Cookham Dean CC (CDCC) which has a hugely successful colts section with over 175 children.

 

As part of their relationship with CDCC, TVC run their mini cricket sessions from the club for U5's (reception) and U6's (year One).

In 2014 TVC were engaged by Claire's Court School to set up and run their Junior girls cricket section. This proved to be a hugely successful project with 24 girls going through an 8 week cricket programme.

 

For 2016, the aim is for the girls to be playing their first competitive matches.

 

TVC also helped run holiday cricket camps for the Junior boys section.

TVC run the cricket programme for Waverley School. A 10 week programme was designed where the standard of cricket was significantly increased. This was hugely popular amongst the children and the improved performance in matches was very evident.

TVC  has developed an excellent relationship with the 3 "Cookham" Schools and over the last 2 years have run cricket programmes at Cookham Dean, Holy Trinity and Cookham Rise schools.

 

The Holy Trinity programme was particularly successful resulting in their first ever match in 2014. TVC also took part in their school sports week.

Current Programmes

Monday evening academy sessions. New block at Cookham Dean CC starting Mon 24th April.

 

Mini Cricket sessions (reception and year 1). Every Friday from 28th April at Cookham Dean CC. 4pm to 5.30pm

 

One to one coaching available every Tuesday and Thursday, 5pm to 7pm.

 

Girls and Ladies Cricket - every Monday from 6.30pm at Maidenhead and Bray CC
